Desperate Housewives demo available

PC News | Download it right here, right now.
PALGN has teamed up with Funtastic to offer our readers an opportunity to download an interactive demo for the PC title, Desperate Housewives. Desperate Housewives is due out on the 16th of November and will retail for $49.95 in Australia.

The demo comes in at a very generous 40MB. The game casts you as the new housewife who moves into Wisteria Lane, a neighbourhood where everything is never as perfect as it seems. Just like the series, the game is narrated by Brenda Strong, aka Mary Alice.

The game contains 12 levels with up to 50 hours of gameplay. Each episode (level) has a secret but you're not able to move on until you've got the whole story. As the new housewife you can explore Wisteria Lane and the surrounding community, gossiping with neighbours or befriending one of your favourite housewives. You'll need to maintain your household, keep your family happy and maintain your house. You have full control over your housewife, as there are over thirty different modifications. You'll even be able to jump online because there is a lot of downloadable content.

We've actually been playing Desperate Housewives for a little while and it's hard not to be impressed and surprised. The game is primarily aimed at females, but it's a thoroughly enjoyable game and we highly recommend a download, you may even surprise yourself.

Can you make Eva Longoria do nasty things to Terri Hatcher? If so, I'll download it.

Yeah, theres one in particular I know of in Perth. Expensive rates and you have to hand over 100 points of ID but better than buying a game and taking it home and hating it.

Awesome, come to think of it I think there was a Tunzagames store here that hired out PC games but I never went there, but yeah I heard it was like $20 a game for a week so a bit of a rip off and that was about 8 years ago.

I haven't taken out a PC game for ages, but last time for a new one it was about $10 a night. I'm hoping DH will be a little cheaper because its RRP is lower than most new games.
