DEFCON patch released

PC News | Mod patch applied.
Introversion has sent word that a mod patch for DEFCON has been released. The patch will make it easy for gamers to play on some of the maps and mod creations that have appeared on the Introversion community forum since DEFCON's release in September 2006.

The modding forum (to be found here) now hosts a map editor and supporting tools made by DEFCON fans, which will allow you to make your own new map. A complete mod list can be found here.

Chris Delay, the lead developer at Introversion stated that "‘Our fans had already produced a number of great mods for DEFCON before we even supported mods properly! We were amazed at how quickly new maps and unit graphics were being made, so it seemed absolutely essential to incorporate proper support for mod loading in-game."

The mod even means that you'll get to see Australia involved in a thermonuclear debate, which is err... great. Providing it all remains in game.
