Test Drive Unlimited patched on the PC

PC News | Two new cars, lots of fixes.
The first official patch (1.66A) for the PC version of Test Drive Unlimited has been released. The patch includes two new cars, the Audi RS4 and the Nissan Skyline R34. More importantly, the rampant online cheating in the game has been addressed, along with a number of graphical fixes and generally improved online code.

The patch can be downloaded here. Even though the patch is listed for the US Retail and Digital Distribution versions, we had no trouble patching our review copy up to version 1.66A.

While this patch has fixed some of the issues which is a good thing, some people have since experienced a drop in frame rate once the game has been patched.

Couple of questions:

For someone who doesn't play online much, what benefit is there (apart from the two new cars)?

How large is the file?
