Left 4 Dead delayed

PC News | Put away your shotgun.
Valve have informed Eurogamer that the PC and Xbox 360 release of Left 4 Dead has been pushed back to early 2008. Valve representative Chet Faliszek stated that, "Really we just want to make sure that when it's released it's great."

The Eurogamer article goes on to mention that Left 4 Dead could benefit from Steam's ability to support things like free launch weekends, but Faliszek remained vague on this idea. "All that's been talked about and bandied about, and I can't say if we're going to do one thing or the other yet. But definitely Steam allows us to do things on the PC side that no other developer can do, and we definitely don't ignore that."

aw what a bummer i was really looking forward to this game, having a house mate who's scared of zombie's he would've been the perfect partner to play with.
