Turok coming to PC

PC News | Windows edition coming in 2008.
Disney Interactive's dinosaur-hunting first-person shooter Turok is set to be released on PC in 2008, reports CVG. Set in the distant future, players assume the identity of special-forces commando Joseph Turok as he battles his way through hordes of carnivorous dinosaurs and well-trained space pirates.

In 2005, Disney Interactive acquired the licence to the Turok franchise, which originally began on the Nintendo 64. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are currently under construction at Disney's in-house development studio Propaganda Games, but Aspyr Studios is handling the conversion to PC.

In addition to the single-player romp, Turok is also promising 16-player online multiplayer support. The game will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early February, with the PC version slated to follow a few months later.

For more information on Turok, check out our recent hands-on preview.

^ looks like leftovers to me. icon_razz.gif

I will admit things are getting better of late but methinks the days of quality PC exclusives (which aren't strategy or MMO) are over.

Beacons of light include: Crysis and The Witcher. Go buy them. Now.

Strange that Sam & Max haven't considered the consoles yet. Their gameplay style would translate perfectly to a console, since it's rather relaxed, laid back, no rush to click things, etc.

I'm pretty sure i heard something about Sam and Max hitting 360 as DLC, maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure there was an article on PALGN about it somewhere.

I'm pretty sure it was only mentioned as a possibility by the devs..

Damn you crestfallen, I was trying to make sure I didn't get reminded about The Witcher until I get my copy on the 9th icon_razz.gif
