Grab one of 1000 copies of Fury

PC Competition | Furific!
To celebrate the December 14th launch of Fury's huge new add-on Age of The Chosen, Brisbane based developer Auran has kindly offered to give away 1000 copies of Fury to PALGN readers. That's a retail value of well over $50,000!

Age of The Chosen will include a two new game-types, Carnage & 1v1 Elimination, with 7 brand new maps to accompany them. The tutorial and interface has been streamlined and various rebalancing and bug fixes will improve the game's overall experience.

To grab your copy of the PC game, simply be only of the first 1000 people to answer the following question correctly; In what city is Fury's developer, Auran based? To make it extra easy it's even multiple choice!

The Age of The Chosen content update for Fury will be available to download from the Fury servers on December 14th. PALGN would like to thank Auran for the prizes and organising this competition.

UPDATE: All Copies of Fury have now been allocated. Thanks to everyone who entered.

Terms and Conditions:
This competition is open to Australian residents only. The competition commences immediately and will end once this first 1000 games have been allocation. Im pretty sure you should just wait for your game, emailing 1000 people isn't really my idea of a great day icon_razz.gif
Couldn't they send out an automated email to the lucky 1000?

I'm probably too late so I won't bother about entering, don't really have the internet connection to play it anyway.

Hopefully with all of these copies of Fury going out Auran might have enough users to create an Australian dedicated server that they were hoping for.

Yeah, an Aussie dedicated server would be a great thing to have. A shame they were unable to implement it originally..

Aww man! I missd out. Anyone want to donate their copy to the "chatmonitor-q missed out on the prizes fund"?

What time was the 1000th copy secured so people know if they roughly got in or not?
The 1000th entry was at 12:25AM, a few people did enter incorrectly so about 1:00am i would say all copies went.

Quote From the Financial Review 11/12/2007:

With poor sales of the 'Fury' video game, developer Auran announced this week it would cut staff in its 60-strong development team, with only a core team remaining to develop additional content for the game. $15 million was spent over three years in developing the game, with the Queensland company securing additional funding from the National Australia Bank to assist in the international marketing of the game. The game however, failed to live up the hype generated by Auran, with it debuting at No. 6 on retail analyst firm Gfk Australia's local top-selling PC Games list, prior to dropping out of the top 10 the following week.

Just out of curiosity, were we still supposed to put our name on top of our address even though there was a name box?

I put my name in the address box again anyway but just checking..

Hmm, that's definitely not encouraging!

Wouldn't have thought so.
If we were supposed to.....that's probably a first, as far as comps I've entered!

The incorrect entries will relate to the multi choice question

No, this time you weren't supposed to your name in the address box. But it doesn't matter if you did.

There was a specific box to put your name in right? I don't remember.

I was lucky enough to enter like 5 mins after the comp started.

so for me "PoBox Maroochydore xxxx" is all I need to include in address right?
xxxx is a number I don't want public on the internet

I know I got it correct and all but I still want confirmation (I enter 10 mminutes after it started)

At the time I remember looking back and there was 200-300 views only, I wonder if that would have deemed me of securing a copy icon_razz.gif

I gotta say though looking at reviews from places, not looking to good. Although it is free, so what the hey.
