Based in the year 2010, The Unsung War will contain more than 50 licensed jets for you to enjoy (don't forget the usual mock-up futuristic fighters that Namco love to add) with 30 missions available to fly through. The usual air-to-air, air-to-ground and the like are also standard fare in the Ace Combat games. Graphics look realistic and awe-inspiring still and it seems somewhat quite an achievement to out-do what they were able to produce for Ace Combat 04.
Namco have also implemented a new feature that will set it apart from the rest in the series, tentatively called the Wingman Command, you will now fly into missions with a group of fighters at your command (much like the Rogue Leader games). Giving the choice to command your squadron of fighters to group attacks or single out an enemy tailing you should be excellent in such a high standard game as Ace Combat.
