E3 2004: Eyetoy Antigrav announced

PS2 News | Including first screenshots of the game in action.
Yet another game has been announced to work in colloboration with the Eyetoy USB camera. Eyetoy: Antigrav represents the first step in incorporating the Eyetoy into character control gameplay.

Players will move their body, not a controller to guide their 3D character in steering, speed and trick maneuvers. Players will interact with the envionment and avoid obstacles.

As the game is being developed by the creators of Frequency Amplitude and Karaoke Revolution Eyetoy: Antigrav will feature a great soundtrack. The original soundtrack changes according to the action on the screen, intensifying the sense of competition.

Unique armbands enable players to activate the color tracking capabilities of the EyeToy USB Camera. Together with facial and body recognition, racers will shred over diverse terrain through eight different levels, grinding on rails and taking flight to perform sick tricks, while interacting with the environment in exciting new ways

Eyetoy Antigrav will boast a lot of features including:
  • Eight original characters with their own style and equipment
  • Diverse terrain through eight different levels, grinding on rails and performing tricks
  • Different game modes, also allowing a player to compete against their friend as you race alongside a ghost image
  • An original soundtrack.

PALGN will have more information on Eyetoy: Antigrav as it is released.
