Super Monkey Ball Deluxe Announced for PS2 and Xbox

PS2 News | The Gamecube’s Super Monkey Ball games are set to hit the PS2 and the Xbox - with over 40 new levels!
Sega of America have today confirmed that Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will be appearing on both the Xbox and PS2 in mid 2005. Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will be a combination of both Super Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball 2, originally released for the Nintendo Gamecube, but will also feature all-new modes, stages, and options not seen in the Gamecube versions - all this for the expected retail price of AU$42.99 (16.99 Pounds or 24.99 Euros).

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe includes a total of 300 Stages (114 from the original Super Monkey Ball, 140 from Super Monkey Ball 2, and 46 new boards exclusive to Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.), additional Story Mode stages, all 12 party games from the two GameCube titles, and a new Challenge Mode that integrates gradually increasing skill settings into one long series of stages.

PALGN will have more information on Super Monkey Ball Deluxe as soon as it comes available.

It should stay with Nintendo, it's exactly their kind of game.
Where would Nintendo be if all its crazy original ideas (and the crazy ideas of the people that develop for Nintendo's console) were available everywhere else?
Having interesting "lighthearted"-feel games like Super Monkey Ball is one of the things that makes Nintendo and the GameCube; the game should stay where it is. icon_shifty.gif

It's a fun game dammit GTPod icon_razz.gif
