The latest videos, revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, display the variety of techniques and approaches available to gamers in the new free-form fighting system enabled in the upcoming release of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Also shown, from the latest videos, are several new areas and the return of several gameplay features witnessed in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (climbing walls for example.)

The exciting new combat system will now enable gamers to become the master warrior they’ve always dreamt of being, as they now have access to a variety of advanced and deadly techniques to design their own unique and decisive style of combat. The environment surroundings will also assist in performing a deadly combat approach. Jump off walls or swing around pillars to perform lethal combos or simply grab the enemies and decide how you want to kill them. For example, take their weapon and throw it back into their head or simply decapitate them with their own weapons.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within will be available for the Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox on the 25th of November, PALGN will have more on Prince of Persia: Warrior Within as it is announced. In the meantime, be sure to check out all of the latest screenshots via our media panel.
