New Tekken 5 Mode and Screenshots

PS2 News | Free-roaming bonus mode announced.
Namco has today announced details regarding the bonus mode that’ll be featured in the highly anticipated fighter title, Tekken 5, exclusive to the PS2. The new mode will allow gamers to get involved in multiple enemy brawls similar to Tekken 4’s Takken Force mode.

The new mode, featuring Jin Kazama, will involve fights with large numbers of enemies coming at the player. Players will also be able to enjoy unique actions not allowed in the main game, including double jumping, the abililty to hang from walls to access hidden areas, destructible objects and the ability to freely roam throughout the stages. The bonus mode will also contain a number of strategic elements to challenge players as they advance further through the various stages.

Accompanying the announcement of the new bonus mode, Namco have also released 20 new screenshots of Tekken 5 in action, all of which can be found in our media panel. Tekken 5 is expected to be released in all PAL territories by mid-2005.

If they had a Co-Op Tekken Force Mode then I'd buy it for sure, but one player is still ok, atleast it adds something else to do.
