E3 2005: 5 Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence screens

Yesterday during Konami's press conference,as well as all their current projects, they also announced the formation of Kojima Productions. We now have some screenshots of one of those projects, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.

MGS3: Subsistence will include online gameplay, a new duel mode, different camera perspectives, a demo theater, and the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake games.

This will be the first time in history that a Metal Gear game will include online play. Some of the announced game modes include "Team Battle," and "Snake vs. Enemies." Snake vs. Enemies, the only mode we have information on at this time, will consist of a head-to-head battle with one player playing Snake, trying to a complete a mission, with the other players trying to stop him.

So be sure to check out the screenshots in the media panel of this upcoming title.

i was wondering whether Snake's Revenge was going to be included too...

any chance you can ask someone?

(i doubt it would be, given it was an un-authorised sequel that Kojima had nothing to do with...)

Snake's Revenge was better then MGS2 IMO!!!

i haven't actually played SR so it's why i'm interested to know if it's included... though since MG and MG2:SS have been mentioned, and for the reason above, i'm guessing not...

SR is not really very good, but it was ok back in the day. It was just one of those NES sequels that tried to outdo the original and missed the mark a bit. It's more action oriented, and a lot harder.

MG for NES is better then the MSX version, though, IMO. There is more variety in the colours and locales, even if it's a less capable system. I've only played MSX one on emulator though.
