GTA: San Andreas reclassified in Australia

PS2 News | Those two people still wanting to pick the game up can now do so.
The OFLC has finally reclassified Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, hopefully bringing to an end one of the more controversial situations in Australian gaming.

The game has been relaunched with the offending 'Hot Coffee' mod removed, and has been reclassified as MA15+. There's no word on when the game wll be available, but it should be out within weeks.

As soon as we have news on the game we'll report back - those who haven't picked the game up yet (where have you BEEN?) should be pleased that it will soon be available again.

Like the little caption underneath the title. icon_razz.gif

I remember the day they banned it about 3 customers in a row wanted to buy the game however the EB staff had to explain why they couldn't. The silly thing was they were still on the shelves and the advertisements were everywhere.

Is this for all platforms or just the Playstation 2?

All platforms I'd say. It's good news as I thought its banning was ridiculous in the first place (as is the Hot Coffee mod though) but it doesn't concern me, I'm one of the 99% of people in the world who owns it. icon_wink.gif
