Tomb Raider: Legend in action

PS2 News | Suddenly our skepticism fades.

Atari have treated us to the latest images of Tomb Raider: Legend today, which is coming out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and Xbox in 2006.

For the first time we've managed to acquire the first in game screenshots of the game, and we're fairly impressed with the level of detail.

Not too much has been revealed about the game, but after the abysmal Angel of Darkness it really is important that this game isn't terrible, or it could be the end of the series.

We've included the latest images in the media panel, we'll have more on the game as soon as it becomes available.

If they can get back to the formula which made the original Lara Croft (the very first one we all rushed out and bought 3Dfx cards for) popular than I think Crystal Dynamics will get some respect back to the series.

The alternative I think is the end of the franchise.

Its been lame from III onwards.
