The Movies on consoles canned

PS2 News | Poor sales to blame.
Activision have confirmed today that The Movies has been canned for consoles. The PC version simply didn't sell enough to warrant the game being released on consoles, which is a little disappointing to be honest.

However, those waiting to pick up the console versions now have no better reason to go pick up the PC version. It's a surprisingly decent game.

Makes me glad I picked up the PC version (Premire edition).

While the move making is good, the Studio and Star management can soon become very annoying.

I find the complete opposite - I don't really get involved with any stage of film producing, but end up spending a lot of time developing the actors. icon_smile.gif

Great game though, shame it's getting poor sales. icon_neutral.gif

That blows for all the people out there who prefer consoles over the keyboard and mouse, mainly me.

I think I may get it for PC now - shame it didn't sell too well.

My thoughts exactly, but I have heard some great things bout the game so I'll probably still end up buying a PC version. Anyone know if NZ or the UK still released The Movies on console?
