100 free Black demos

We were wowed by Black in our hands on preview a couple of weeks ago. Now you have the chance to feel the same. Thanks to EA, PALGN has 100 demos of Black to give away to our readers. We have 50 for the PlayStation 2 and 50 for Xbox.

All discs have now been allocated. We will notify everyone who will be receiving a disc via email. Thank you to all who participated!

As the article says - we have 50 discs on PS2 and 50 on Xbox (it's not a PC game). You put your name / address down and we ship it to you (and we pay for postage).

Countdown should actually count down correctly now. It was originally running a little slow. Spelling has also been fixed

be warned the xbox demo doesn't work at all. I work at a retailer and I was lucky enough to get this demo on monday, but the xbox demo starts to load on the title screen and just freezes I tried 3 different copies as well, the ps2 demo works fine btw no mods to xbox and less than 6 months old

Err I think the countdown is wrong it says there is 2 hours left and its 8oclock , in 2 hours it will be 10 not 11am for Perth.

^ i thought it was my work connection.

the cable got severed last week by digging equipment, and it's been borked ever since.

anyway, fingers crossed i'll get a PS2 copy in a few days.

EDIT: was directed at click here, but people posted in the interim.

How do we know if we were successful? I filled out the survey as soon as it was available, but trying to submit was a nightmare! First it said I hadn't filled out the questions it had asked for (which I had completed in full) so I clicked submit again and then it took about 10 minutes at the end of which my browser said it couldn't connect to the server (I was also trying to load palgn.com.au at the time with no luck). Now when I click to go to the survey it takes me to a survey index page and says I've already completed the Black survey. Does that mean I was successful in obtaining a demo? I hope so

As for the Cube version stuff, I only ever meant that as a joke due to the complaints in earlier competitions.

i think i got iT!!!

i got stressed out cbecause i watched the timer go down and it wouldnt load when the timer said to refresh....but im sure i got my ps2 copy

Yeah anyone who entered up to now will have got a disc. All the Xbox ones have just been taken. There's a few PS2 ones left.
