Flat Out 2 announced

PS2 News | With even more carnage promised.
Bugbear Entertainment have announced today that they're hard at work on Flat Out 2, The successor to Flat Out, which was released at the end of 2004.

Flat Out was a very enjoyable game, so we're pleased that a sequel is in the works. The sequel will contain twice as many vehicles, a deeper career mode, twice as many mini games and a fully fledged online mode.

There will be over 5000 fully destructible objects on every track as well as 40 deformable parts on each vehicle. The game will also be set in the United States this time around, which should give the game's tracks a different feel, since the original title was set in Europe.

To accompany this announcement Bugbear have also released the first images of the game, which can be found in our media panel. We'll have more news on Flat Out as soon as it becomes available.
