"God of War III is something I would love to see happen," slurred a swaying Jaffe, accompanied by a marketing type from Sony who looked a little more sober. "We're dying to make a new one, we're dying to make one on PS3, but noone's come down from Sony exec level and said, "here's your money, here's your team, go make it." But I hope they do - I would love to do that."
He also briefly discussed some of the more recent developments in gaming, proclaiming that, "The idea of interfacing with games in new and fresh ways is a cool thing, whether it's on the Wii or the PS3." He had some generous words for Microsoft also, praising the Redmond firm for its efforts with Xbox Live. "Microsoft were pioneers, they brought amazing innovation to the industry, and we'll always be grateful to them. Do I think Sony's service will ultimately be as strong? I hope so."
