Capcom ships over 2 million units of Devil May Cry 4

PS3 News | Capcom will cry... to the bank.
Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 may have only been released earlier this month, but this hasn't stopped the game pulling in some big numbers.

Capcom has announced via a press release that they have shipped over 2 million units of Devil May Cry 4 since the game's release on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Exactly how many of those units have been sold is currently unknown, but the shipped figure is rather impressive considering how little time the game has been out.

Look out for PALGN's review of Devil May Cry 4 very shortly.

its good to see capcom is reaping the sucess of going multiplatform. I own the ps3 version, and a huge fanboy of the ps2 games, but its good the 360 owners get to experience such a great game

It would actually be quite interesting to see the comparison numbers between the platforms.

It's also great to see an essentially hardcore only game do so well.

My bet would be that PS3 wins that due to the Jap market.

i thought the opposite because of world wide numbers and unlike your average JRPG, the rest of the world likes this game too icon_razz.gif

I am looking forward to seeing those figures.
