Fracture demo on the way

PS3 News | To go online next week.
LucasArts has revealed that a demo for the third-person action shooter Fracture will be available on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network from September 18.

The demo will give gamers a taste from the title's single-player campaign, which allows the player to use terrain deformation to create cover from attacking enemies and to solve puzzles throughout the game world.

Fracture is set to arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles this October.

Red Faction promised the same things. Didn't quite deliver...

You get grenades that deform the terrain, make terrain grow and stuff. And Red Faction had awesome destruction.

I just played the demo on PS3 and even though its mostly a tutorial, it is awesome! The best thing about it is how fluid the controls feel. Controlling your character feels like Halo only 3rd person, and we all know how well Halo handles.

I'll be playing the demo on 360 as well to see which one is better... I'm betting the 360 controller will allow for better control... I'll keep you guys posted whoever's interested!

Yeh a while back I had downloaded the gameplay trailer from XBL and I was kinda thinking, looks OK, nice concept, but I bet it just feels overall crap to play, but it actually feels very comfortable. Can't stand those games that just feel like your floating around in space or moving wayyy to slow (MGS4 anyone?)

Yet to check out xbox360 demo. Will do so tonight hopefully!
