Guitar Hero in a state of Nirvana

PS3 News | Nirvana DLC hits World Tour today.
The latest addition to the Guitar Hero World Tour DLC lineup features three tracks from 90s grunge rockers Nirvana, with today's release of the Nirvana Track Pack.

The tracks are available on the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 for the tidy sum of $2 - which equates to 160 Microsoft Points or 200 Wii Points. PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers can also purchase the content as an entire 3-song pack - which changes the price to $5.50 or 440 Microsoft Points respectively.

The Nirvana Tack Pack contains the following songs:

  • Nirvana - Negative Creep
  • Nirvana - You Know You're Right
  • Nirvana - Sliver

If you prefer your rock with a European flavour, you can also download Volume 1 of the European Track Pack, which became available today. The European Track Pack Vol. 1 retails for the same price as the Nirvana Track Pack and includes the following tracks:

  • Sportfreunde Stiller (German) - '54, '74, '90, 2010
  • Negrita (Italian) - Mama Mae
  • BB Brunes (French) - Dis Moi

Awesome, will download shortly. The GH DLC has been terrible, so at least this is a step in the right direction.

Wow four completely subjective comments in a row.

I'm actually pretty happy with Guitar Hero's DLC, apart from the fact that I haven't bought any of it. However, I think this'll soon change - because I'm a negative creep and I'm stoned.

yeh, i'm pretty happy with GH DLC too. Keep up the older music. Hendrix pack is brilliant (WANT MORE HENDRIX!!!), pumpkins is ok, would be good with it was all pre-1999 tho, and nirvana, well, that's my earl;y teen-hood right there.
