Bad Company 2 Limited Edition revealed

PS3 News | Do you think these extras are good or bad?
EA Games has sent word there will be two versions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. There will be a standard version which is just a copy of the game and a manual insert, as well as a Limited Edition which contains the same content plus a few early in-game bonuses.

The bonuses include four vehicle warfare unlocks and two classic Battlefield 1943 weapons, and are designed to give you an edge in multiplayer battles when the game is initally launched. The vehicle warfare unlocks include improved vehicle armour and supreme vehicle firepower which gives all armoured vehicles additional weapon packages making them more diverse on the battlefield. There is also a vehicle motion sensor which lets you locate nearby enemy units, and a Tracer Dar Pistol that lets you track, lock-on and fire rockets into moving targets which are even beyond the line of sight. The Battlefield 1943 weapons include the heavy and powerful M1A1 Submachine Gun, and the M1911 Pistol which is famous for its dependability and large .45 caliber round.

The Limited Edition will retail for the same price as the standard edition of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and is currently scheduled to be released in March 2010 in America and PAL territories. You can check out some screens, box art and a trailer below.

I agree with Slipvayne 100% on this. Bad Co. has been my absolute favourite online FPS ever, and 1943 was great as well. Single player in Bad Co. I really didn't like at all, but the multiplayer blew me away. I've clocked in about 130 hours on that, at least, not to mention all the hours I spent for free on the demo back in the day.

This is looking great, I'll probably get this Ltd. Edition pack.

probably? Its the same price why not? Hope it has a gold case again. Awesome game. Didnt mind the single player but yer your really missing out multiplayer to me is only second to cod and nothing else which is alot of praise with every other online game available.

Smart they released this in march. I will be needing a break from all the november releases and this will be perfect

Oh by 'probably' I mean I'll try and get it, but I don't earn enough moolah at work to get full-price games so I don't know if I'll buy Ltd. at release or wait until the game is around $60, at which point Ltd. will be long gone XD

ok yes that makes sense. bad company 1 was 79 bucks when it was released most places hopefully that will happen again but no big loss really. I would rather earn the weapons than have them given.
