PlayStation Store Update - 20/11/09

PS3 News | Richard Gere?
It's been a long time coming, but the PAL PlayStation Store has finally received Metal Gear Solid, the original PSOne Classic, so for all of you who are yet to fight a cyclopean cyborg ninja in an office while a scientist pees himself in a locker, now's your chance to correct that oversight. There are also a bundle of new games for the PSP, including LittleBigPlanet and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines. We also have the first 3D PSN title, if you have the means to view it in 3D, in Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao. Finally, Sgt. Yeah - i just got a PSP (lbp pack david jones special) and i can find UMDs for $20-$30 and new releases at $40-$50. Even without factering in the cost of additional sony pro cards the PSN prices for PSP titles are steep. Ill be sticking with PS1 games (althogh why we have half of what the US has is another gripe for another day) or waiting for signifcant sales (ala steam, but I know it aint going to happen often)

the only good deal for the PSP i see there is Disgaea. I'm sure though you could find it cheaper if you tried

I wish they would release Blood Omen over here as they have in the US. It will be my first PSOne Classic purchase.

Without a PS3 or credit card though, how can you buy games through the store? Do we have point cards in Oz at all?

Awesome, no pointless wait for Sgt Peppers! Here's hoping the same happens with Rubber Soul. Good to see MGS finally too, altho I still have my PS1 discs. And Twin Snakes. Yet I'm still strangely tempted.....

I'll be buying it, i'm too lazy to just install the pc version of icon_razz.gif

Gives me a good excuse to purchase another psn pre paid card aswell.

Or better yet buy a Prepaid PSN Card from your local Game.

I didn't even think about that. I've got a perfectly good copy of MGS on PSone and Twin Snakes. There wasn't a moment of hesitation, i just grabed it (and Sgt. Peppers).

So happy now that i've got MGS on my PSP. although, i need a bigger memory card to put the other PSone classics i have on there. Anyone know a good place to pick up a 4gb card?

This, and Soul Reaver as well, which was released this week on the US store.

I would quite easily buy those games again and replay them in a heartbeat.

Resident Evil 2 is available on the US PS Store too.

It's annoying how the Euro/ Oz PS Store has some PSone games I want which aren't on the US PS Store and vice versa.

I've noticed that Crash Bandicoot 2 has still not returned to PSN... Still waitng for Abe 1/2 and Braid. Hopefully next week (along with adhoc party).
