Win 1 of 3 copies of Bayonetta: Climax Edition for PS3

PS3 Competition | It's time to get creative!
PALGN has teamed up with SEGA Australia to give away three copies of the 'Climax Edition' of the new and exciting action game Bayonetta for the PS3. Bayonetta: Climax Edition comes inpremium slipcase packaging and features the Bayonetta game, as well as a 36-page hardcover art book and CD soundtrack featuring music from the game.

Here's an excerpt from our review:

"Bayonetta is easily among the best action adventure games and features one of the best fighting system we have experienced. Bayonetta not only has immense depth and variety for hardcore gamers but casual gamers will also be able to get into this game very easily and have a fantastic time. Bayonetta is pure unadulterated entertainment at its finest. It is a game that will provide a stylish action experience that makes most other games in the genre feel redundant."

For your chance to win yourself a copy, simply send your full name and address to bayonetta@palgn.com.au, along with a piece of artwork based on the main character, Bayonetta. Whether it be a close-up portrait or a drawing of her fighting evil of some form, it's up to you - creativity is the key here, and we can't wait to see the entries!

You'll have just over two weeks to get your entries in, and the three best ones will win a copy.

Bayonetta will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Australia on January 7th, 2010.

good as finally another design comp!

But, will the auction system ever be used again?
Not without some kind of stat-reset, and perhaps a larger overhaul of the whole system. It'd be a bit pointless to bring them back in, as a handful of people have all the $poons and there's absolutely no chance for newer users to catch up.

So, what's the dealio with the PS3 version? Did the western release get all fixed up, or is it still a bit lacklustre as compared to the 360 release?
If it's a good'un I'll have to get my arse in gear and enter!

But one of the main reasons some of us all have spoons is that these auctions just stopped. So we all just saved them. Its not really that everyone has this huge amount of spoons anymore..

I'm pretty sure the ps3 version is still a bit dodgy but who can complain if its free from a comp. May give it a go.

No, the point is that about a third of the active users all have huge amounts of them, and everyone else doesn't. Hell, just the disparity between the user with the most (BurnZ) and the user with second most (Obs) is somewhere in the order of 530 votes!

If anything was put up there at the moment, it would only really be available to about 10 people - and even then in a specific order depending on who actualy wanted it.

Better to put all prizes towards competitions, much more fair that way.

Naw I can't enter. I'd love to do some kind of artwork portraying Bayonetta.

Hell I might just do that and post it here without entering.

Gl to everyone who enters!

Sony are helping Sega fix the dodgy PS# port for the Western release. Hopefully this will put it on par with the 360 version

Awesome! Time to google some bayonetta illustrations and submit it as my own

^ Yeh I thought that as a possibility too, I don't even think the competition said that it had to be your own though. But I'm not going to do that, because I don't own a PS3, am getting it on launch anyway, and not that big a dick.

Besides, I can't enter anyway, Denny is my father.

it's true, facebook says so

I'm going to download the demo tonight on off-peak (1.6GB?!). That being said, if I can get it for a picture, I'll be laughing, even if I don't enjoy it.

I'd enter but I already have a copy of the climax edition (and the SF Replica)
...and I'm an 'artist' too... so this would have been right up my ally too...

It took me many frustrating hours to draw this picture, you guys already know that my art usually flows from me like diarrhea into trousers. This piece is no difference.
Ladies and gentlemen, set your faces to "awe" and be prepared to be impressed by something that is so impressive that döppel, Segax and Denny combined could not hope to replicate:

The finished product:

Just "non-stop infinite climax" to go for me.

The Scarborough Fair Replica they give you is sweet. Has caught many an eye in my office.
