SOCOM 4 announced

PS3 News | Debut trailer arrives.
Following yesterday's announcement that military shooter SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs is in development at Zipper Interactive, today publisher Sony has released the first teaser trailer for the title (via GameTrailers).

So far what we know about the title is that the single-player action will be taking place in a South Asian country and the multiplayer side of things will feature 32-player servers with "more Special Forces units than ever before!"

This PlayStation 3 exclusive shooter is scheduled to invade our shores in the third quarter of 2010. You can check out the debut trailer and first images of SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs below.
