First MAG DLC on the way

PS3 News | Free supplies prepare for battlefield deployment.
Developer Zipper Interactive has announced (via the company blog) that the first downloadable add-on for the epic multiplayer shooter MAG will drop on 25 March.

Dubbed, the Trooper Gear Pack, this free DLC addition to the title will provide veterans and recruits alike with a veritable goodie bag of war making equipment such as new special edition light machine guns for each of the game's three private military contractors, two new uniforms and the addition of flash bang grenades.

To coincide with the launch, the game will also be running a double XP promotion which will run from the 25 March right through to Sunday 28 March, giving players the opportunity to get some serious power levelling done over the weekend.

I'm so glad that this is free, if you had to pay I think it would ruin the game.

Agreed, I hate paid DLC.

I'm more so curious about what happens if they introduce something like paid maps, seeing as such a large amount of people are needed per game (in domination at least), it could make finding a quick game very difficult without it.
