E3 2005: Tekken 6 image revealed

PS3 News | Tekken 5, eat your heart out.

Tekken Tag Tournament was a flagship title for the Playstation 2 when it was released back in 2000. In fact, Sony quite often rely on Namco to show-off the capabilities of their new systems, such as the PSP and the original PSX.

It seems like Namco have delivered yet again, providing us with an image of the upcoming Tekken 6. The detail is absolutely mind blowing, with sweat and strands of hair being easily visible.

They showed pictures very similar to this at the PS2 launch.....

Looks like CG to me. Namco wouldn't go out of their way to render individual hairs if you wouldn't notice them during gameplay.

True. Imagine all the work it would take to make a whole game this detailed. (eg every blade of grass etc). It would take 20 years.

it's impressive, but i agree, looks like a render...

i'd love it if this was disproved though...
