According the the GDC website, Harrison's address is set to "focus on the new creative, technical, and business opportunities provided by the arrival of PlayStation 3", a console that has been kept almost completely under wraps since its huge impact premiere at last year's E3 convention.
It seems the covers are now ready to come to come off, to some degree at least. Jamil Moledina, director of GDC had this to say about Harrison's involvement in the conference, "His discussion will answer many questions developers have for Sony at this stage before the impending PS3 launch." I'd take that as a good sign that we'll hear some pretty intriguing stuff about Sony's console.
This years GDC is sure to be one of the more interesting conferences of the year with Nintendo and now Sony presenting themselves with potentially info rich speeches. Hopefully, what the two main players have to say will satisfy the many thousands of info hungry gamers hanging onto every scrap of info they can find. Let's hope it's at least enough to whet our appetites during the long wait until E3.
