The latest switch in Sony's PS3 production plan was revealed by SCEI president Ken Kutaragi, who also announced that the US will be getting 400,000 at the launch of the console on November 17th, while the poor old Japanese are to get a paltry 100,000 when it launches there on November 11th. As you now know, us PAL lot won't be seeing the machine until next March, though hopefully this will mean shortages won't be such a big issue any more. Mind you, on recent form, we wouldn't put it past Sony.
