Full Auto 2 images drive in

PS3 News | Smashing.

Sega have sent through the latest images of their car carnage racing game, Full Auto 2: Battlelines, which is set to be a launch title for the PlayStation 3. Full Auto 2: Battlelines will come with more cars, weapons and tracks so there should be even more happening on screen at once.

In the game's predecessor there were often a few problems with the hardware not keeping up with the action, which is something that this game is supposed to have rectified. We won't be seeing the game in stores until next year though, as it's set to launch alongside the PlayStation 3.

We'll have more information on Full Auto 2: Battlelines as soon as possible.

If the images translated to actual gameplay,
then one word "AWESOME".

The physics and effects are incredible (study the images closely).

If the PS3 can achieve this in real time, then
GAME OVER for the Xbox 360.

^I agree that it's really pretty, but as if we're going to notice the ultra fine little details when we're driving through buildings and blowing s**t up at 300kph. If the game plays like burnout but with gigantic machine guns and nukes and s**t, I'll buy it. Screw prettiness for something that's too fast to see properly.

Balls. The first one looked exactley the same (gamneplay wise, not graphic wise) in screenshots and look how that turned out - mediocre. Unless Sega actually focus on tuning the gameplay then this will be just another half-formed tech-demo/game mashup.
But hey, if they do makes this one good then I'll be adding another PS3 game to my want list.

This is the third generation of Playstation, and they still have terrible jaggies? I find jaggies to be the worst graphical offense, and with the reported power of the PS3 I don't understand why they aren't anti-aliasing it properly.

The front facias of the buildings collapse it's not entire buildings that collapse.
The 360 had that too...oh in real time too.

If those pics are from the 1080p version then sheez, what's the deal with the jaggies?

Every single game should have full screen motion blur, not full on blur but the subtlest of blurs(hardly noticable) removes all that.

Just have a look at games that utilize full screen motion blur, stunning!

Oblivion is the only game i've played for the Xbox 360.
My time is too precious to waste on other crap games.
I rather make my own game on flash.

I am waiting for a decent RPG. Blue dragon is a maybe.

Comments on the technical side of a game does not translate to
buy/play one.
I've never play the 360 Full Auto so I can't comment.
The PS3 version looks Stunning so far. And Thats IT. Period.

And when said "My time is too precious to waste on other crap games",
I meant 95% of the 360 games this day are not worthy of my time.

I just wanna see one of these awesome flash games! And all this time i've been thinking i've had to waste money on all this expensive equipment e.g. hd tvs, 5.1/7.1 surround, xbox 360...man what a waste...
