F.E.A.R PlayStation 3 dated

PS3 News | It will be a little cheaper too.
Vivendi has confirmed via a press release that F.E.A.R (which was originally expected to be a PlayStation 3 launch title) will be coming on April the 26th, 2007.

Most third party titles in Australia retail for $119.95 but Vivendi has confirmed that F.E.A.R will retail for only $99.95. Here's hoping that this puts a bit more pressure on third party publishers to drop the RRP for their future titles. For a look at what we thought of the Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R head over to our review, it doesn't bite...much.

Great i'm still pondering whether to get this on my ps3 but i've played some of it on a PC so i wonder if it'll affect game play partially knowing whats going where.

Also was wondering if there was going to be multiplayer additions or maybe another layer of polish for the ps3 graphics?

When the article said 'cheaper' I thought it meant cheaper! 100 dollars for a game getting close to 2 years old is not good enough. Does it even have any changes over the 360 version? Does that even have any changes over the PC version? These ports just seem way to late to come to the PS3, if only developers had worked on new games instead.

As far as I know, it has extra guns, extra story missions and extra multiplayer modes.

lol $100 is what all games should be, $120 is a bloody joke. when you they are $99.95 they are usualy available for $79.95 which is fairly good.

anyway this game is still a rip off for a port, the 360 version is available for only $50 and this one im sure will be the same price an a month or two.

I'd love to know what's with all these "launch titles" getting pushed back into April. I've got a copy of Oblivion from the US arriving tomorrow that was originally supposed to be a launch title here.

Looking around my local department stores, you'd think there were only 6 different games available on Day 1.

There's a gold edition being released for PC, I think the price is going to be either $70 or $90, with F.E.A.R and Extraction Point.

Will it be "a little cheaper" than the current PC price of $29.95 ?
Thats what I paid at Dick Smith Power House Chatswood.

The add-on mods for the PC version are very well priced at $0.00 each.
Will PS3 mods be a available and for a little cheaper than free?

F.E.A.R PlayStation 3 dated

Is this a reference to when it is being released, or the fact that it's an aging old game that's $20-30 on PC and $50 for 360?
