PlayStation 3 version of Blazing Angels 2 to feature exclusive content

PS3 News | Racing mode and SIXAXIS functionality.
Ubisoft have revealed to us today via a press release that the PlayStation 3 version of Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII, which was previously unannounced, will apparently feature exclusive content over the Xbox 360 and PC versions.

The exclusive content will include four different control configurations that will take advantage of the motion sensing technology in the SIXAXIS controller and will allow players to "easily maneuver the plane." No further details have been revealed in terms of how it will be utilised however there will also be an arcade configuration which, as its name suggests, uses a more traditional control scheme.

The other PlayStation 3 exclusive revealed takes the form of new multiplayer race mode. In the new mode, players will race around a circuit avoiding obstacles and landmarks as well as navigating natural terrain in a bid to cross the finish line first.

In Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII, you are the leader of Operation Wildcard, which is a squad of elite pilots who are assigned the task of sabotage and destroying the Third Reich's plans to create weapons of mass destruction. During their mission however, the squad discovers the enemy has an elite team of their own which leads to "movie-like spy missions" that make use of the "world's most exotic locations, using experimental weapons and never-before-seen prototype aircraft."

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is expected to be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in the 3rd quarter of this year. While you wait, you can check out our hands-on preview of the game by clicking here. Screens of the PlayStation 3 version can be viewed in the Media Panel below.

Wow you really are quite the cynical fanboy, well I reckon it's exclusive because it's there if you got motion sensing and you have a flying game...you don't need a rocket scientist. icon_lol.gif
