Expect a Burnout Paradise demo next week

PS3 News | So says counter on official website.
In October, we reported that a Burnout Paradise demo would be finding its way online in December. Sure enough, the official website of Criterion Games has been recently updated to reveal a countdown timer to the release of the demo, which expires in just over six days, and just happens to coincide with the next PSN update. Coincidence? We think not.

So while not an officially official confirmation, it's a relatively safe bet that we will at least see the demo for the PS3 in six days, and probably for the Xbox 360 too.

If you just can't wait for your Burnout fix, check out the Criterion's website to watch the counter slowly dissipate.

Many thanks to mipac for sending this our way.

Brilliant! Although I'm not sure that I'll be able to afford the download... too many things to download already this month.

Im really looking forward to it, I have 360 and PS3, but I will download it on PS3 because the game is being made on PS3 and ported to the 360. All the recent previews I have read say that the game is currently looking better on the PS3 over the 360, which makes sense because it is the lead SKU, but you never know, it could hit Live too.

I'm pretty sure that 360 will get the demo same day as Ps3 simply because now days both are getting demos simultaneously where possible and I think that EA are on the ball with demos now days and I'm sure they wouldn't want to delay. The only ones that coudl delay it now are MS or Sony relative to certification.
