Free GT PSP for PSPgo

PSP News | Who doesn't like free stuff?
Sony has announced during its press conference at the Gamescom event in Germany that those who purchase and register their PSP Go console between 1 and 10 of October will be eligible to download a free copy of Gran Turismo PSP.

The game is not a demo or a cut-down version - it is the full retail version. The deal mirrors a similar promotion Sony ran when the original PSP console was released in PAL regions, where by registering their console, owners would be sent a free UMD copy of Spider-Man 2.

At the time of writing there was no official official word if the deal will extend to Aussie shores.

Sweet, I can't wait to get my hands on the PSP Go, but I need further info on what to do about my current UMD games

For the price you're expected to pay this this abomination, they should give you two free copies!

Not of the same game, right? icon_wink.gif

Anyway, free Gran Turismo does sound tempting.

And much better then a UMD of Spider-Man 2, I wonder where I put my free copy of that.

In the SpiderMan bin?

For possibly AUD$499?
And what if you don't like racing games?
Rip off deal of the year is more likely.

Well now that we know what the price of the PSPgo is. If it was retailing between $300-$350, this would still be a decent deal.

well if a ps3 is now 499, surely they cant posably charge the same, that would just be stupid
