A new Dead or Alive game on the horizon

PSP News | Featuring a tropical island full of bikini clad chicks.
Tecmo Koei has announced that the upcoming Dead or Alive title will be released in English speaking territories this year. Alas, the game, titled Dead or Alive Paradise will not be appearing on consoles with an exclusive release confirmed for the PlayStation Portable.

Dead or Alive Paradise will not feature any fighting, which what the franchise is mainly known for (well…not really) nor will it focus entirely on the beach volleyball antics which the Dead or Alive Xtreme series became famous for (well…not really).

Instead Dead or Alive Paradise will serve as a Sims type experience, expanding the series to focus mainly on the mini-games and social simulator aspects of the Dead or Alive Xtreme series. The game will feature a large selection of beach themed mini-games, photography, gambling, plenty of bikinis and accessories for the Dead or Alive ladies and of course being able to socialise with activities such as gift giving. The game will also feature a brand new character named Rio.

While it's no Dead or Alive 5, true Dead or Alive fans will surely be pleased to take another trip to Zack’s Island. You can check out the Japanese trailer below, embedded for your viewing pleasure.
