Virtua World Tour Announced For PSP

PSP News | Sega ready to serve up a storm for PSP owners. First images inside!
The developers behind last year’s arcade classic OutRun2, SUMO Digital, will be sitting at the helm of development for the upcoming portable Tennis title Virtua World Tour, which is set to grace our PSP consoles later this year, and which has been announced to coincide with the PSP's debut in Europe – September 1st 2005.

Sega has confirmed that Virtua World Tour will include an array of international tennis pros, as well as a make-your-own-player mode – where gamers will take their very own player and travel across the globe to win cash – along with exclusive mini-games and original tennis courts. Virtua World Tour will also include Wi-Fi gameplay that’ll enable up to four players to play against one another.

Other gameplay modes will include Exhibition and Tournament modes where gamers will try to reign up the international ladder as the greatest tennis player.

Sega has yet to confirm whether or not Virtua World Tour will be making its debut at E3, but knowing Sega they’ve always got an ace or two up their sleeves. Stay tuned.
