Vampire Rain is a survival horror game featuring 3rd-person military gameplay. The game is set in a rain-soaked city, modelled on the outskirts of Los Angeles, inhabited by a mysterious, deadly, not to mention hideous threat - the vampire-like Nightwalkers.Players take on the role of John Lloyd a member of the AIB Nightwalker Elimination Squad, which he joined five years ago after his old squad was killed by Nightwalkers.

• Variety of Missions: Progress through 24 Stages, 25 Trials and 9 Tutorials in campaign and a variety of multiplayer and team modes
• Focus on stealth: The Nightwalkers' abilities are far more powerful than of those of John and his squad, so must be engaged with caution; sniping from a distance is advised
• The Rain theme: Rain plays a big part in the game weakening a Nightwalkers' powers
• Boss encounters: Nightwalkers thrive on human blood. Once bitten by a Nightwalker, a human will turn into a Nightwalker too
• Necrovision: In order to succeed players will need to master the use of Necrovision, which distinguishes humans from Nightwalkers
