FaceBreaker announced

360 News | EA Canada's new boxing title revealed.
1UP has revealed that EA Canada is working on a new boxing game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii called FaceBreaker.

EA Canada previously worked on Fight Night Round 3 for the PlayStation 3 and apparently EA saw an opening for a less serious boxing title, enter FaceBreaker. The game is described as a cross between " Ready 2 Rumble Boxing and Team Fortress," and is a cartoony boxing title that will apparently "let players break each others' faces".

According to EA's Peter Moore in a press release, "Arcade boxing takes me back to my roots in this industry, and this game signals our shift to adding more approachable fun to our product lineup."

Real boxers won't be featured in the game, instead the developers have created fictional characters. One such example is Romeo, a "Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts".

Does anyone else find it disturbing that a game called facebreaker has a character known for pelvic thrusts?
Unless he happens to be twice as tall as the other characters that seems really, really wrong icon_wink.gif

God at first I thought that was going to be the name of the replacement to Fight Night.
