New Overlord content now available

360 News | More minions for the cause.
For those of you who are keen to keep on raising hell, Codemasters have announced that new downloadable content for their devilishly addictive action game Overlord is now finally available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Originally scheduled for November 2007, this often delayed downloadable content will consist of three seperate content packs. In addition to a free content pack, another two premium content packs will be made available to expend on both the single-player and multiplayer facets of the game - for a combined total of 1200 points.

The free content will be available in the Overlord: Split-Screen Multiplayer Pack, which will allow players to go head-to-head with a friend on a single Xbox 360 in a new split-screen mode.

As well as being able to access all of the previous multiplayer maps for split-screen play, players will also be given access to the new Rocky Race map, which allows a pair of Overlords to work cooperatively to survive the rampaging rock giant.

The Overlord: Challenge Pack will unlock a new difficulty level for the single-player campaign as well as unlock seven all-new multiplayer maps for the small price of 400 Microsoft points.

The final pack, Overlord: Raising Hell is a full blown expansion to the single-player component of the game, allowing players to unlock a series of 'hellish new levels' for experienced Overlords to tame.

As well as expanding on the world of Overlord, this content pack also allows veteran players to try their hand at new dungeon challenges for a price of 800 Microsoft points.

So prepare your minions and head on over to the Xbox Live Marketplace and download the all-new Overlord content today!
