N+ this week's Xbox Live Arcade game

Microsoft has today announced that this week's Xbox Live Arcade update will feature N+.

N is a flash game, developed by Metanet Software, that's been kicking around the Internet in various shapes and forms for a few years now. Basically put, the game puts players in control of a 2D ninja, where the objectives are to run around, collect gold, dodge enemies and open doors to progress to the next level.

As you would expect from anything with a plus sign on the end of it, N+ is an 'enhanced' version of the original game, according to the developers. They didn't specify what exactly those enhancements were, though.

The game will be available to download on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday at the cost of 800 MS points, and will be released for the DS and PSP in March. Alternatively, you could just go here and download the PC version of N for free. Either or.

Oh, Excellent! I loved playing the flash version way back when, hoping it made the transition to XBLA well!

It would've been nice to tell us what enhancements would've been made, especially considering that it's a day away to be honest, just hope that it is a significant amount to give it value over the free version of N (which is awesome by the way).

Actually, yeah - they're putting it out on DS, PSP, XBLA, and PSN... so I wonder what the differences are between the lot of 'em?

I was addicted to the PC version and still play it intermittently. Of the 99 chapters, I've only managed to make it up 39. It's already insanely difficult at that point so I can only image how crazy it gets later on. I wonder if the XBLA version retains that level of insanity... it would be a shame if it didn't.

I'll definitely be checking this out.

I came in here wondering what the hell N+ is but yeah I used to play the game on PC alot back in my high school years. Pretty cool its on Live now but I still think theres alot of better original content available on Live at the moment.
