Lost Odyssey to become a series?

360 Rumour | It seems likely.
AllRPG.com have translated a statement made by the head of Xbox 360 Japan, who when speaking about Lost Odyssey told regional media giant Nikkei that 'the series' will continue to grow as time goes on.

This certainly would make sense, given that the title has been a critical success created by Mistwalker, the Japanese studio established by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. While nothing is official at this point, it certainly looks promising, considering we really enjoyed Lost Odyssey ourselves. Once we have something more concrete, we'll let you know.

Great news if the rumour is true. I'm loving Lost Odyssey a lot. It feels like the first true JRPG i've played since FFX. I'd love to see more being developed.

I have to agree with Ecykmosis i would love to see more. I have currently spent 70+ hours into this game and still getting owned by this one bloody boss. I am not stopping thoe going to be great imo. Bring on more imo.

Lost Odyssey is the best JRPG I've played since FFX so this is a good thing.

I found Disc 3 a bit boring, but Discs 1, 2 and 4 are some of the best gaming ever. I have not been so compelled to 100% complete a game since Ocarina of Time.

And the rewards are so worth the extra time and effort to do the sidequests: I currently have two skills equalling +15 skill slots. Now that's awesome.

Wow. I feel almost the opposite. I found disc 3 to be the highlight of the entire game (so much happens and almost all of it is interesting). I found disc 2 to be the worst and it felt like it was dragging it out.

Only upto Disc 1 so far and Lost Odyssey is one of the better RPGs I've played in recent times. Hopefully a sequel does come out, next they it needs to be on 8 discs icon_lol.gif

^ Absolutely, its one of the best games I've played in a while too. From the time I've spent in the game so far (around 20 hours) I haven't been bored once which is quite a rarity for me when it comes to lengthy RPG's, So I would also love to see Lost Odyssey become a series.
