Puzzle Quest XBLA to get an expansion

360 News | Help name it too.
D3Publisher has announced that they'll be bringing an expansion to Puzzle Quest to the Xbox Live Arcade later this year.

The expansion will include some brand new professions including Bard, Rogue, Ranger and Warlock as well as a previously undiscovered area containing 25 quests. As well as this there will be 50 spells and 40 items to collect. There will also be new bosses and monsters as players go through the story of Antharg, the Lord of Plague.

Currently the expansion is un-named, but the publisher wants some help with this, so if you can think of the ideal Puzzle Quest expansion name, then simply head over to the official website.

Sounds good, this may actually tempt me to get Puzzle Quest for the 360 since the only thing holding me back was that I have played it to death on the DS.

What i want is a sequal with a drop preview, (Think the next piece display in tetris) to help prevent the lucky drops or allow another strategy layer as you plan moves ahead as well as wht is in play..........

$69.95 > ~$24 ?

Puzzle Quest is one of the best XBLA titles, asif it isn't worth 1200 points. I hate you all.

Actually it's $19.80. Thanks for playing, though.

Mod edit: Please don't double post.

I love puzzle quest, but this expansion is clearly for the obsessed puzzle quest addicts. Its not like the AI opponents all played differently... as Steve Fawkner the creator of the game said, the AI doesn't cheat, it just picks the best move available at the time and doesn't look ahead. Therefore you are just playing a bunch of profile pictures with different spells. So no Im not going to be paying for the expansion. Well i have the DS and PSP version anyways so I couldn't get it even if i wanted to.

By all means they can make as much money off Puzzle Quest as they can, but I'll be waiting for Galactrix. Its a shame I hear they might be renaming it to Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. I think Galactrix could stand on its own.
