Street Fighter IV platforms confirmed

360 News | Wii misses out.
Street Fighter 4 was announced a few months ago, but one of the main omissions from the original announcement were the details on what platforms the game would be available on.

Well, Capcom has officially announced that Street Fighter 4 will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game will be published in Australia by Red Ant. There is currently no release date for Street Fighter 4 but we expect to see it on store shelves by the end of the year.

Curses! You'd think there was a conspiracy to force me into the current generation of consoles, and with SF4 not coming to a non HD system, it's gonna make holding out even harder for me.

Thats great! they ignore the console with the best d-pad for street fighter games.

I guess the wii can only hope for a ps2 version to come out. Why no DS either? Since the gba i have been waiting for another portable SF game.

I guess i will have to settle with the 360 version and maybe a Hori stick.

Wow - PC? Wow. I think the Wii would be worth the effort. Or are are Capcom just in the habit of making money from effortless ports on this system?
