Ninja Gaiden 2 bargain round-up

360 News | A ninja lurks in the shadows, then strikes when he finds the perfect bargain.
While PlayStation 3 owners will be hiding away in boxes and sneaking around corners in Metal Gear Solid 4 this week, Xbox 360 owners can look forward to lurking in the shadows and striking out at their foes in Ninja Gaiden 2. So that you don’t pay the full retail price of $99.95 for the long awaited sequel, we’ve compiled a list of the current specials available across Australia.

Once again, Big W have beaten their competitors and are offering Ninja Gaiden 2 for the cheapest price of $78.84. In case they give you that ‘we’re expecting our deliveries to arrive in the next 45 minutes’ excuse, then you’ll be pleased to know that JB Hi-Fi are charging only 16 cents more to make it a solid $79. As usual, JB Hi-Fi are also offering a trade-in deal where you can give them three Xbox 360 games and get Ninja Gaiden 2 for FREE – just remember to check their exclusions list before slicing your way into one of their stores.

For a complete list of bargains on Ninja Gaiden 2, please see below:

Big W
$78.84

EB Games
$99.95

David Jones
$79.96 (with their current 20% off sale)

JB Hi-Fi
$79
FREE when you trade-in 3 Xbox 360 games*

*Click here to see their exclusions list.

Toys ‘R’ Us

I for one am very grateful that DSE's cheap trade bait popped up the weekend before.

About JB excluded trade deal VIVA PINATA/FORZA 2 DOUBLE PACK is different from just normal Viva Pinata right?? I just have the normal version so will they take them??
^ Yes they will take the normal version. The reason why the double pack is excluded is because it was free with the Xbox 360 console.

This bargain isn't from a retail store, but you can buy the Asian version of Ninja Gaiden 2 from Play-Asia for US$49.90 and a pack of pocket candy plus normal shipping for $54US - and with a $10off coupon comes to $44US - which is about $50 Australian.

I got mine today and it works no problems.

I wouldn't eat that.

Agreed @ Arbok. I ordered GRiD and NG2 off play-asia and they're both $20 cheaper than even the cheapest retailer here. Although I just need to wait for them to arrive...

I think I'll keep doing this where ever possible. Stupid Aussie retail prices.

Thats exactly my plan of action for future region-free games, with GRID next.

I was all set to do that for Ninja Gaiden 2 as well, then it finally hit me to simply use JB's deal and DSE's bait...i was so caught up with GAME's pre-order deals that i almost forgot entirely.
