Schizoid and Golf for XBLA this Wednesday

360 News | A action/puzzler, and an, erm, golf game.
It wouldn't be Wednesday without the weekly Xbox Live Arcade update and this week is no exception, with Schizoid and the awkwardly titled Golf: Tee It Up! becoming available for download.

Schizoid is an up-tempo action game with a simple objective - simply ram your glowing coloured ships into the same brightly coloured enemy ships. There are two colours to control - one by the player, and one by either an AI or another player. The game stresses co-operative play in order to have the best chance at overcoming the 120 plus levels of glowy bad guys. Or, you can try the Uberschizoid mode if you want to control both coloured ships yourself, assuming you're a bit mental.

The other game being shot our way is Golf: Tee It Up! Oh, the excitement an exclamation mark brings. This one seems heavily inspired by the Everybody's Golf series, with quirky characters (which are customisable, of course) and gameplay which is relatively pick-up-and-play. As you would expect, play over Xblox Live is encouraged, with tournaments as well as additional content to download in the future.

Both these games will set you back 800 MS points come Wednesday.
