While it has been known for a long time that the company plans to add new scenarios to the game's initial four, new weapons and bosses are also on the cards, with 1UP reporting that "there were strong hints at a flamethrower coming not long after launch," a tidbit which was revealed after speaking to Faliszek at Valve's offices.
Faliszek has also stated that the company aims to get DLC out to the masses a lot quicker than they have done with Team Fortress 2. Though it is unknown if it will be available for free, as Valve has previously butted heads with Microsoft on the subject, stating that the console DLC model is forcing them to charge users for additional content.
The Xbox 360 version will also see dedicated servers in an effort to boost the performance of the game for Xbox Live players. While Valve has not come out with actual server numbers, they "did imply that they'd have everyone covered."
Left 4 Dead will be biting its way on Xbox 360 and PC in November.
