Duke Nukem 3D for XBLA dated

360 News | Next week.
According to GameTrailers, the Xbox Live Arcade port of the PC classic Duke Nukem 3D will be available next Wednesday, September the 24th.

This confirms last month's report that the game would be out in September. Handy, that.

Duke Nukem 3D is a port of the 1996 classic PC first-person shooter, famous for lots of gore, half naked women, and the title character, who liked to talk about how good he was. A lot.

The Live Arcade port will also have a few new bits, in the form of a saved film feature (save those magical multiplayer moments for others to see), and a rewind option, allowing players to, erm, rewind when they die. Not unlike Prince of Persia, then.

The game has yet to be priced.

Is anyone else a little miffed at the whole reversing time thing. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the original DN3D, why couldn't they just chuck it on Live, add acheivements, some ******** multiplayer and call it a day? WHY MUST THEY MESS WITH MY CHILDHOOD!?
