Age of Booty this week's XBLA game

360 News | It has pirates.
Microsoft has announced that this week's new Xbox Live Arcade game will be Age of Booty.

The booty in the title doesn't refer to behinds, but rather treasure, as Age of Booty is a 'game of pirate strategy and cannon-blasting action'. The game comes to us from the folks at Capcom, with the goal being to plunder and pillage in the hope of gaining wealth and notoriety.

As is to be expected from any good Live Arcade game, there is an online multiplayer component, with 25 levels to fight it out on. Oh, and a map editor, so you can make more should you ever get bored. Offline multiplayer is also catered for, with four players able to take part in the action on one machine.

Age of Booty is priced at the standard 800 MS points, and, as always, you can try it for free beforehand to see just what it's all about. It will be available to download this Wednesday.
