Tomb Raider: Underworld demo available on the Marketplace

360 News | PC demo to follow.
Tomb Raider fans had a nice surprise to discover this morning - there's a demo up on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Lara's new adventure, Tomb Raider: Underworld. In case you don't own an Xbox 360, Eidos Interactive have confirmed that a PC demo will also be available for download on Friday, October 31st.

According to Eidos, the demo takes players to the western coast of Thailand, the second destination in the game. The level apparently features steep cliffs and ruins for players to navigate, as well as dangerous wild animals. Players will also be able to try out the new Field Assistance System, which is designed to create and uncover pathways.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is scheduled to be released in PAL regions this November on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo DS, Wii and PlayStation 2.

Is there any word on a PSN release? Seems odd that they'd leave it out. I had no idea this was coming.

The PSN is updated on Thursdays right? So maybe it'll appear on there in a bit.
