Street Fighter IV dated

360 News | For Europe and the US, anyway.

Capcom's eagerly anticipated new entry into the classic beat 'em up series, Street Fighter IV, will be released in the US on the 17th of February, and in Europe three days later on the 20th.

The news comes from a post on the Capcom Unity Blog, where the post revealed that only the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions would be available on these dates. Apparently, the previously announced PC version has been forgotten about for now.

While an Australian date has not been specified, common sense suggests a release at a very similar time to our friends in the northern hemisphere. We will keep you posted.

In other Street Fighter news, last week Capcom promised that the much-delayed SSFII Turbo HD Remix would be arriving on Xbox Live and the PlayStation network later this month. A date has still yet to be confirmed.

I also feel the same way like macca. If the Australian release date is a month from usa i will just import. So getting this sucker on ps3 ^^.

Sigh... gonna have to buy a PS3 arcade stick. I shoulda imported one before the dollar dropped. =\

I was just in Japan for a week and I played it at the arcades. And its good, really good... I was not that impressed after looking at just the screenshots but its one of those games that look a lot better in motion.
